It’s our favorite time of the month—it’s time to shine a spotlight on an amazing local business!
Supporting local businesses is something we truly cherish, as they are the lifeblood of our community. When you support local business owners, you’re supporting the local economy.
This month, we’re featuring a small flower farm that we’ve been supporting for a couple of years—SkyGardens!
SkyGardens’ Story
SkyGardens was founded by Skyler Richardson—when she was seven years old! Back then, her Grama was her only customer. But Skyler never stopped dreaming of one day owning her own greenhouse.
Farming has been in Skyler’s family for generations, but she saw a need that wasn’t being met in the West Texas area. And that was a need for beautiful, fresh flowers.
Skyler founded SkyGardens on the original land that her Grama and Papa chose for farming many years ago. Today, the whole family is involved in making SkyGardens a destination for fresh flowers and beautiful wreaths and garlands.
Why We Love SkyGardens
SkyGardens is amazing! We’re always so impressed with Skyler and her family’s creativity.
These are the kindest people, who make the most beautiful arrangements, wreaths, and garlands!
They offer fresh, seasonal flowers for many different occasions, including weddings and funerals/celebrations of life. Their arrangements and bouquets are stunning. You can even purchase a subscription so you’ll always have fresh flowers around.
Imagine having a weekly bouquet of fresh flowers! This would make an amazing gift.
We also love that SkyGardens offers customers the option to come to the beautiful farm and pick their own flowers on the plains of West Texas. You-Pick tickets are only $30, and you get to cut your own fresh flowers from the farm and take them home with you.
This would be such a nice way to spend a summer evening with friends and family.
SkyGardens also hosts some fun events throughout the year, like their fall planting class and pumpkin arranging class. You can even book a private tour of the farm.
They are also at the Wolfforth Farmers Market from time to time—look for them the next time you visit!

They’re always in season, fresh, and beautiful. If you stop by the farm, spend some time looking around and taking in the beauty.
We think of fresh flowers in the spring and summer seasons, but SkyGardens also offers beautiful wreaths and garlands made with greenery for the holiday season. Keep them in mind when you decorate for Christmas!

If you’d like to order flowers, you can do so on their website. Pickup is available on Tuesdays, or you can have your flowers delivered for a $10 delivery fee.
