How Does ‘Curbside Service’ Work?

Having recently made over 600 phone calls to our amazing patients to see how they are and if there’s anything that we can help with, the same question came up multiple times.

“My hearing aids need a cleaning/adjustment/replacement, is there any way that you can help without me having to come into your office?”

We started thinking.

With social distancing becoming increasingly important, we wanted to find a unique way to continue to care for our patients without them having to walk-in to our offices.

That’s why we decided to introduce ‘Curbside Service’.

This allows you to pull up into one of the designated parking spaces, call for our assistance and one of our team will come out to collect your hearing devices from a safe distance.

Here’s how it works.

#1 - Prior to your visit, we encourage you to call to let us know that you are coming – this is to ensure that we don’t accidentally start a traffic jam!

You can then visit us at your specified time.

#2 - When you arrive, you’ll find a vacant parking space waiting for you.

Simply pull into the parking space and call the phone number marked on the sign in front of you to tell us that you have arrived.

A member of the team wearing gloves and a face-mask will collect your devices, ensuring that you do not have to leave your car.

They will also hand you the latest issue of the ‘Cornerstone Chronicles’ – a small newsletter that will keep you entertained, informed and busy while you wait.

#3 - You can then wait in the comfort of your car and AC while our service technician makes the necessary adjustments, repairs or replacements, before professionally cleaning your devices, sanitizing them and returning them to you at a safe distance.

Keeping you safe and finding innovative ways to continue to support you is our number one priority during these times.
