During this crisis, it has been our goal at Cornerstone Audiology to make smart decisions that put our patient’s and our team’s health as the highest priority. We care so much for our city and are doing our part to flatten the curve in West Texas! #keepwesttexasflat
We closed our doors for a few weeks to patients as we felt it was the most responsible decision. Many of our patients are among the vulnerable age demographic most impacted by Coronavirus.
While our doors have been closed, our team has managed to stay very busy! We have battled to keep our entire team employed full-time during this pandemic. Our mission continues as we strive to provide exceptional care and solutions for better hearing to the people of West Texas, even in a pandemic. Since closing our doors to flatten the curve in West Texas our team has:
Performed 213 curb side clean and checks
Made 624 phone calls to check on our patients
Remotely programmed 27 hearing aids
Delivered hearing aid supplies FREE of CHARGE to 61 patients
Dropped off FREE batteries and hearing aid cleaning supplies at 9 nursing homes
Thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and organized our offices
Because our current system has been so effective and safe, we will continue to offer curb-side cleanings at all 3 of our locations, simply pull in and call that location. Our Lubbock parking lot is now equipped with marked signage so that we have 3 spaces to offer patients for drive-up service. Simply pull into one of our marked parking spaces and call our Service Center, we will run out and take care of your cleaning or service request.
As we prepare to open our offices to see patients again, please know that we are taking every precaution possible to ensure your safety. For patients who need to come inside our office we will only be seeing one patient at a time in our Snyder and Big Spring locations. In our Lubbock office, we are equipped with 2 waiting areas and 3 sound booths. This allows appropriate social distancing while within the office. Our team will also be cleaning every surface after each patient.
If you are uncomfortable coming into the office, we offer our Cornerstone Virtual Care program to utilize face to face virtual appointments with one of our Doctors of Audiology. Hearing aid programming may also be performed virtually allowing patients to face time with their audiologist during the adjustment.
We are here for you, we genuinely care for our patients and are excited to see you soon! Thank you West Texas!
