Meet Dr. Marisha Beck

Marisha Beck received her bachelor of science degree in speech, language, and hearing sciences as well as her doctorate of audiology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Dr. Beck was identified with hearing loss when she was 3 years old, which piqued her interest in the field of audiology. Dr. Beck also wears hearing aids and personally understands the struggles of coping with hearing loss. She is an advocate for people with hearing loss.  

Dr. Beck has 11 years of professional experience as an Audiologist working in both private practice (4.5 years) and VA (6.5 years).  Dr. Beck has experience working with all major hearing aid manufacturers and strives to stay up-to-date on the ever-changing advances in hearing aid technology.  She also has extensive experience in tinnitus management techniques using Progressive Tinnitus Management principles.  Dr. Beck has worked with patients that have multiple medical diagnoses in addition to hearing loss and tinnitus to include traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, post-traumatic stress disorder, etc.  She is passionate about educating the public through free educational seminars about hearing loss, tinnitus, and treatment options.  She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and enjoys supervising audiology graduate students from her alma mater.
