Cornerstone Audiology is in search of a Lead Patient Care Coordinator to join our amazing team in Lubbock, Texas. 8-5 Mon – Thu, 8-2 on Fridays – occasional travel & after hours required
Competitive base salary (depending on experience) plus commissions/bonuses

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of Patient Care Coordinators and ensure the efficient and effective delivery of hearing care to our patients, maintaining office flow and protocols with an exceptional level of customer service
- Coordinating the schedule for maximum productivity and efficiency
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families and healthcare providers to address inquiries, concerns and scheduling issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Monitor patient satisfaction and implement strategies to enhance the patient experience and improve outcomes
- Stay current on healthcare regulations, insurance requirements and best practices
- Ensure all positions are covered during other staff absence, able to move employees ensuring everyone is cross trained to maintain adequate coverage
- Approving PTO based on accruals and coverage
Experience recommended in the following areas:
- Excellent customer service experience is essential
- Insurance verification experience
- Healthcare experience required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to empower and motivate team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, insurance policies and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
- Professionalism
- Conflict resolution skills
- Phone skills
- Management experience required
- Commitment to providing compassionate care and advocating for patient’s needs
- Spanish speaking a plus
